Zurich's St. Michael's Gift...

Every now and then you meet a truly amazing individual, one who changes lives and motivates others to do the same. Today I met the CEO( James Schiro) of Zurich Financial Services, the company that sponsors the Zurich Golf Classic being held this weekend on the West Bank. I knew this tourney supports the ForeKids Foundation that donates to 41 local charities. One of those charities is St. Michael Special School. This morning I attended the dedication of St. Michael's Vocational Training Center, a building that Zurich funded. That wasn't enough for Jim Schiro(called a hero by St. Michael's). Principal Jane Silva was presented a check for $100,000!
Wow...first Zurich helps fund a building & then they write another big check! Thank you Jim Schiro & Zurich Financial Services for helping the "special kids" of St. Michael's.

As I mentioned last night, an upper disturbance is approaching and might trigger a few showers on Saturday. Tonight heavy T-Storms swamped the south side of Houston with 4-5+" of rain in less than 2 hours. Hopefully that won't happen here this weekend with JazzFest & the Golf Tourney going on. Our rain chance for the next 5-7 days appear slim once this upper system passes. Enjoy Life Gang and I hope you run into someone as special as Jim Schiro this weekend!
