Pensacola Flood...Climate Change?

Yet, that's what I heard on The Weather Channel tonight.   Climate change means more weather extremes despite the fact that climate change has been around throughout the history of our Planet.   Let's see...between 1978 & 1995, New Orleans had 4 "100 year floods", but none since 1995 if you exclude Hurricanes & Tropical Storms.   Pensacola gets a flood,  with rain totals almost identical to the amounts that fell here on May 9th, 1995, and it's due to climate change.   Hummm...we've gone almost 20 years without a 100 year flood and, you guessed it, that's due to climate change!   Too much snow, too little water, too cold in the Winter, too hot in the Summer, yep it's climate change!  As Bevis & Butthead would say..."He-He".

The slow moving upper storm that has kept a SW flow over us will finally change for this weekend allowing the old frontal boundary to slide farther offshore.  That should mean a great weekend is on tap with no rain, plenty of sun & comfy temps with low humidity.
