When I was a teenager (60s) the big pop group next to the Beatles was the Beach Boys who produced hit after hit. I will have the honor of introducing them this Saturday night (6 PM) at Family Gras in Metairie at Lakeside Mall. C’mon out as the weather will be near perfect for Good Vibrations!
The upper disturbance than produced today’s soggy weather is moving east of us tonight and no rain is expected until sometime next Monday. Sunshine returns on Thursday, but you’ll need the heavy coats as brisk north winds will makethe 50-55 degree highs feel like the 40s. Friday will see a light freeze on the North Shore with maybe some frost south before a warming trend begins Friday PM lasting into next week. Saturday’s highs of 65-70 will warm to 70+ on Sunday. It’s a great weekend for parades and outdoor events while our friends up north still shiver & shovel. Enjoy!
