More Rain Returning Thursday & Friday...

After receiving over 6 inches of rain last week, my yard really doesn't need another soaker.  But that's what's on the way as the radar views show a large area of rain to our west heading our way.

Another well defined upper level swirl (arrow) along the OK/KS border is the trigger that will bring the rain and our next cold front on Friday.

As one storm leaves the East Coast, a new one quickly follows drawing up clouds and moisture from the Gulf.  This will be a fast moving system so only 1-2" rain totals are expected.

The tricky forecast problem for tomorrow is whether we get into the warm air sector that is showing up over south Texas.  The heaviest storms should stay south of us offshore, but if we get into the warmer air, some strong storms could work their way up to us.  Colder air will be back on Friday through the weekend.  This cold surge will not be quite as chilly as the one we just had.  It may last into most of next week so if you like sunny, comfy cool days with crispy cold nights, you'll be in Weather Heaven!

Finally, Brenda had Bailey groomed yesterday and the groomer dressed Bailey in a festive Christmas scarf.  Now if that doesn't warm your heart!  Stay tuned!
