Fall Arrives Fairly Quietly...

With TD # 10 long gone, we look ahead to see if any tropical troubles are on the horizon as we start to wind down this hurricane season. There is a strong wave moving across the Yucatan tonight and it'll emerge over the southern Gulf tomorrow. Some computer models try to form a depression or tropical storm and head it towards the Tex,/LA border by Tuesday. Even if nothing develops, our rain chances are likely to increase as we'll be on the wet side of the system. Aside from that, there is nothing that looks to be a potential problem for us.

At 4:51 AM on Sunday the Autumnal Equinox occurs signalling the end of Summer and the beginning of Fall. The next real cold front is not likely to arrive until late Friday or Saturday so look to "enjoy" another week of warmth & humidity. If we can just get into Ocotber, I'll start to feel really good (about not being hit) regarding this Hurricane Season.
