Sweaters & Jacket Weather Coming !!!

The coldest air of this Fall season will arrive on Tuesday bringing back your need for some heavier weather gear. Before it arrives, the National Weather Service already is warning for the possibility of some severe weather on Monday. This is a vigorous upper level disturbance that appears even stronger than last week's system that spawned several tornadoes. The good news is it'll pour cold air deep down over the Gulf putting an end to any tropical systems except for the extreme southern Gulf & maybe the Caribbean.

This past week I reaffirmed why I live here. I went on a 3 day fishing trip out of Shell Beach with my good friend Stanley from Atlanta. Stanley & his wife Phylis fish the world, but he said he has never seen a fishery quite like ours. Despite constant winds of 15-25 mph, we caught 104 speckled trout and 3 redfish over 2 days. Fishing was difficult but we still had a blast. Captains Hylton & Bob were terrific in finding the clean water that held some fish. My thanks to them. I'll be back on-air on Monday.
