As promised yesterday, a Gulf low is slowly developing off the lower Texas coast. It will make for a rainy Wednesday here, but the rain should be spread out over many hours so our pumps should be able to keep up. A Flash Flood Watch has been issued along with a High Wind Advisory and a Coastal Flood Watch. My gut tells me this system is being "over-hyped" and we will be on the low end (1-2") of the rainfall and winds. Things still look on track for freezing weather on both sides of the Lake on Sunday morning.
