Don't Plant Yet...

We are in the final week of METEOROLOGICAL Winter, historically the 3 coldest months of the year. Our recent warm spell might have some of you thinking the chill is gone for good. But Nooooooo! A strong cold front will bring another surge of arctic air down to the Gulf Coast. Fortunately it's not as cold as 2-3 weeks ago, but it will make for a light freeze on the Northshore the next 2 mornings with temperatures in the low to mid 30s south of lake P. At this time of the year the cold doesn't last long and we'll warm back to 60 + on Thursday and 70+ by Friday. A weak front comes through on Saturday but the cool down will be slight.
