Since I've always been a small fella, playing sports when I was younger was quite a challenge. I was too short for basketball, too small for football and too slow for track. I did play baseball (2nd base) thru Babe Ruth leagues (14-16) but quit that after I got run over by the fullback of the football team while covering 1st base on a bunt. What I didn't know was I should have played golf. Size doesn't matter as much and you can rarely get hurt. I'm trying to make up for lost time now, but I'll never get close to being "good".
Which brings me to the PGA Tour, the elite players in the world of golf are here this week. May I suggest you go visit the TPC course in Avondale and watch how easy these guys make the game look. Our weather looks great...warmer with only a slight chance for a few showers. Highs should get into the 80s by Friday and take the sunscreen if you plan on going.
It appears our stormy weather pattern of the past several weeks has settled down into a rather quite pattern for this week. The next real front is not likely until next Tuesday or Wednesday.
