Tropics to take snooze...

As we approach the heart of the hurricane season, we need some quiet time after having 3 named storm in July alone. In the past 30 years, we have seen 3 or more named storms in July 6 times (89,90,95,97,03,05) so it's not that unusual. Hopefully we'll see a lull for the next several weeks and a continuation of storms either going up the east coast or staying far south of us in the Gulf. Certainly the current quiet time comes when Grand Isle hosts the Tarpon Rodeo. I'll be down there again trying to catch a few fish and pass a good time. I'll resume my blog when I return. Enjoy your weekend !
