Yep, if you read today's Times-Picayune...headline..."Global Warming a Threat to Health, EPA experts say". And in the USA Today, ..."Kidney Stone Cases could heat up...Global Warming cited as culprit." Kidney stones? What next? Balding, Erectile Dysfunction, toilet backing up? Gotta be Global Warming ! Here's what bothers me. Almost all the "predictions" cannot be verified since the "experts" predict for 2050 or 2100. I want them to predict the sea level rise for 2010, 2015, 2020. Most of us will still be here and we can then see if the "experts" are correct. But Nooooooooo...they predict so far out that very few will be around to see if they were right. I really believe there is a certain group of Americans that want to protect the planet at ANY costs...even if it wrecks our economy and lowers our standard of living. Whatever happened to the "can do America?" All we hear not is the "can't do America". What ya think?
Regarding the tropics...as I said last night, they are heating up. In fact, it appears a weak low is trying to form just off the west coast of Florida near Fort Myers. We need not worry as that moisture should stream over Florida and northward into areas that really need the rain. There is nothing else out there that we need worry about right now.
