Yep, computer models are again forecasting a deep east coast trough for later this week and that should drive another cold front down into the Gulf South, and possibly into the Northern Gulf for Saturday & Sunday. In another 4-5 weeks, those fronts will have noticeably cooler air, but for now, all they do is provide an opportunity for weak low pressure to develop over the warm Gulf waters. Perhaps this time a low will form off the east coast of Florida and head up the Gulf Stream and out to sea? Perhaps nothing will form at all. Just wanted to give you a heads up that this weekend could get interesting again.
In the short term, Wed-Thurs. should see only a few PM T-Storms resulting in hotter temperatures...93-97 !
