Weather Channel Agenda?

Wow...was watching TWC tonight and they had my friend Mike Seidel in Seattle covering the West Coast heat wave. The banner read..."Historic Heat Pacific Northwest". That is correct as some cities broke hottest record ever. However, much of the Great Lakes & Northeast is having their coldest July ever. Cincinnati has yet to hit 90 in July...same for Chicago to Detriot to New York City. Numerous record lows have been set yet I haven't seen TWC highlite that coverage. Could it be their owner's influence? NBC/Universal/GE - makers of wind turbines? Nah !

It looks like we won't have fronts making their way down to the Gulf coast for awhile. They should stall farther to our north so our rain chances should be less for Wed-Sunday...in fact, the Atlantic Ridge/Bermuda High may build westward for the first time this summer giving us SE winds. The Tropics show no signs of life which is very nice as we near the end of July.

Last time Caveman checked New York City was not in the Northwest nor was Chicago which was what the story was about...

Its not just in the NE Bob its across the country, they're have been well over 3,000 record lows Nation-Wide so far this July, Bob! 3,000!!! Also about the Cincinati deal, they haven't even hit 85F this year! Just amazing... I think will be also interesting to see what this upcoming winter will bring. Maybe the S word? Time will tell...

Until next time,
