Geez, nobody minds the cold with the Saint's parade tonight. Who Dat! Ahhh, but I must bring back reality. Cold air has come south again and a storm hitting California this afternoon will race our way by late Thursday into Friday. NWS is already putting out special weather statements alerting SE LA & MS that there is the "potential" for some heavy snow Thursday night into Friday across the N-Shore with even some sleet on the S-Shore. Whether this happens will depend on the track of the surface low that is expected to develop late Wed. night. I could alarm you, but I won't. I do know that in past history, if snow is predicted well in advance, it doesn't happen. Rather than try and give you conflicting information, I agree with the NWS. The potential is there for the white stuff (4-8") on the N-Shore so pay attention the next 2-3 days.
Amazing that our government has formed another division of NOAA to deal with Climate Change. Even tho there is more and more evidence each day and week that the Planet has stopped warming and started cooling, NOAA is determined to "create" more data backing their claim that CO2 is the driver of Global Warming and not the cycles of ocean currents and solar output. Looking at the next 10-14 days, most of North America will be in Da Deep Freeze. Burrr!

Waiting for ONLY REAL to put his two cents in.... Sounds like north shore may get enough snow to actually build snowmen!!!
Bob,
And haven't you noticed, the glowarmies have been mum of late? It should be especially embarrassing for the Pres, who is AGW proponent, that his city is experiencing record "wintry" weather. And where is Al to explain this to him?
Well, he's probably where the rest of the AGW folks are, struggling and huddling to find some garbage that their followers will believe to explain this disturbing weather.
Imagine that, the very climate that they speak AGAINST, is what they really want because it advances their agenda. They should be happy and relieved that the planet is really not heating up, shut up and enjoy the cold weather.
But instead they'll figure a way to explain that AGW is also causing the record cold weather.
Don't matter here in Who Dat land, because we've endured every adversity.
WHO DAT!
Bob,
How is the snowfall looking for the Picayune area? Trying to make some plans. Thanks alot!
Informant:
I shouldn't speak out of turn, I'm not a professional like Bob but looks to me like Picayune should get in on a few inches of snow... 3+ at least.... Hope I'm not speaking out of turn...
