More Cold, Maybe Some Snow? Say it Ain't So!

Today is why we live in the Gulf South...70+ in February. But it's only the first time all month, and the way the models look, it's the only time we'll break 70. Guidance indicates we will have several southern fast moving systems during the next 7-10 days bringing us a couple of opportunities for rain and/or some snow. The cold air that has surged southward out of Canada is more like mid January instead of late February. I would not be surprised if a band of snow did develop across the Northshore after midnight on Tuesday into early Wednesday. We'll get another rain opportunity on Friday with yet another rain/snow opportunity late Sunday into Monday. Add into all of that... a couple of below freezing mornings on the N-Shore & near freezing S-Shore...do NOT plant your tomatoes before March 15th at the soonest.

Snow..... are we really going to get excited for the third time this year on the southshore regarding the snow issues..I think not.... Hopefully I'm wrong but I don't see snow or sleet on this side of the lake. I can say that this is the first year in I can't tell you when that we have had the threat of winter precipitation in south Louisiana!!! Global Warming??? I THINK NOT!!! BOB AND ONLY REAL...do you two think we really may get some winter precipitation in the Metairie area this week or this coming weekend?

If it does snow in Metairie you can sell it to Cananda, they need some for the Olympics. All that trucking in of snow and use of helicopters to drop snow is costing them alot. Climate change?

I see climate change, but not global warming, global cooling. This is one of the coldest winters in the U.S. in a while, with some of the U.S. cities getting record snowfall. Send some to Metairie!!! It is however, very strange that the U.S. is getting pounded with snow and Canada needs some!
