As advertised, today went into da dumper with 2-4" rain totals common thru out all of SE LA & MS. Satellite views show the upper energy pulling away with drier air filtering in from the west. Friday will start out ugly with some low clouds, but skies should become sunny during the day with highs warming into the low 60s. Colder air will flow in for Friday night and the weekend, but no rain is expected for any of the parades. Despite Sunny skies Sat. & Sun., highs will stay in the 50s with nights falling into the 30s & 40s. Our next rain won't arrive until late Monday or early on Tuesday.
Remember It's Black & Gold Friday. Everyone get your game face on. Go Saints !
