Great Ready for the Big Nasty...

It will not be a night for man or beast as a strong cold front is approaching. Radar shows a large area of moderate to heavy rain developing along the Louisiana coast with a line of showers with the front to our west. This will make for a nasty night as temperatures fall from the 60s into the 40s by daybreak. At this time we are not expecting any severe storms. Clouds will linger for most of Sunday and temperatures will struggle to get out of the 40s all day. It's back to heavy coats...Welcome to the first full day of Spring! Fortunately, the chill will relax by Tuesday but more fronts will be coming so don't put away those sweaters and jackets. Real Spring may be several weeks away.
