Spring fever grips much of the nation, especially up north after a long cold winter. However, when temperatures rise, plants start to grow again and that begins their process of spreading pollen. So far I've been lucky. No fouled up sinuses, no headaches, no misery. I know that's not the case for many and unfortunately that's part of living in this section of the country. If it's not the high pollen count, it's high mold spores. Best relief? Stay in air conditioning and take the legal drugs that will help clear you up.
In the short term, I see no changes coming in the next 3-5 days. The winds will stay brisk thru Thursday before we'll see less wind by the weekend. Rain chances appear near zero until maybe on Sunday when a weak front will get close. You'll have to water your gardens as Mother Nature will not help get those new plants going. In 5-6 weeks, we'll look back at these pleasant temperatures and moderate humidity and wonder why can't we enjoy it longer. Appreciate what we have before it's gone!

Dry weather looks to continue through the week as ridging continues to dominate the area. Highs this week will range from the upper 70's to Low 80's and Lows will be in the upper 50's north and the southern area's of Southeast Louisiana will stay in the 60's at night. Also expect breezy conditions for the majority of the week, this should make it feel relatively nice outside. Our next shot of rain does not look to be anytime soon, possibly not until next Monday or Tuesday.
Have a great week!
