Enjoy the Cool, Summer-like by Friday...

Perhaps the final "real cold front" until next Fall has brought more 'Good Feel" air back to the Gulf South. Wednesday will be terrific with lots of sunshine, low humidity and less PM wind with highs near 80. SE winds begin on Thursday bringing back the muggies and those winds will roar from the south Friday and Saturday increasing tides to 2-3 feet above normal creating some flooding issues outside the hurricane protection system. Friday shower chances look like 50-60%, 30-40 % Sat. & Sunday and 80% or higher on Monday. Not a perfect weekend for the J-fest, but not in the Dumper either.

Congress wants to pass a new climate bill...not the old Cap & Trade/tax that would not reduce CO2 at all, but a bill that would actually call for reductions of CO2. That sounds good except reducing CO2 will NOT change our climate. It WILL change how much we pay for just about everything, but the government doesn't care if its actions will hurt the poorest of the poor. They just want more control over ALL of us.
