NOAA...More Government Needed...

NOAA came out today with a long article regarding Global Warming. Bottomline...it's OUR fault and those scientists are demanding we change/lower our standard of living. I'm a believer that the Earth has been in a warming cycle since the 1800s, but my stance is it's not man driving the warming. As Dr. Chris Landsea said last month at the AMS Broadcaster's Conference regarding GW and increased hurricanes..."GW is the tail and ocean currents are the dog". Translation, the press is allowing the tail to wag the dog. El Nino just ended so our current warmth should be expected. As La Nina takes hold, let's see what happens during the next 6-12 months. We'll probably see another "private" e-mail that says..."it's a travesty that we can't account for the current cooling". But Governments all around the world are in a consensus that it's man's fault Breck. Hey, I keep reading, studying all sides. The red flag goes up when I see opposing information (Record cold in South America, Icecap over Antarctica at all time MAXIMUM etc) withheld from general distribution. Why? What are they hiding? If nothing, let's see what happens during this La Nina and if the Solar Minimum(lack of sunspots) continues.

Weatherwise, I'm bored with the heat.

Bob, they are hiding facts that work against GW because they have vested financial interests in the promotion of GW. Look at the new "Electric Car" touted by Obama... The Volt gets 40 miles on a charge, which takes 2-3 hours. That's supposed to reduce our "carbon footprint"? Just wait till those believers see their new electric bills...

I'm not falling for any of their political agenda, especially the hypocrite Al Gore and global warming...

Looking at the Hurricane Center's page, we may end up with something for you to talk about other than the heat...lol.

Wayne, let's not forget that Al Gore has put on a few pounds over the years -- it's no wonder he's so warm!

I don't think you're alone on this Bob. There was a guy a few months back on coast to coast radio talking about the same thing http://www.drroyspencer.com/. And of course we're not going to hear much about this through mainstream media.
