A Colin Comeback...???

Satellite loops tonight indicate the remains of Tropical Storm Colin might be making a comeback. An upper low that has been producing strong wind shear is drifting away allowing for a cluster of T-Storms to become more concentrated. If Colin does once again become a Tropical Storm, computer model runs keep him well east of Florida and not coming into the Gulf. Down in the central Caribbean, there is a low level cloud swirl, but there are no T-Storms with it tonight. It is moving quickly westward and computer runs take whatever might develop into central America and the Yucatan. That should mean no problem for us as most of the Gulf is under a strong NE to SW upper wind flow.

Locally, it appears we will get back into more daily T-Storms. If they arrive soon enough, our highs should stop in the lower 90s. If it's like today and the storms come after dark, we could see mid to upper 90s. NWS has once again issued an excessive heat warning for anyone working outdoors.

Nice to see Burbon Street Blues back in action. So, the shark is recording record temps in your pool. Well my pool is like bath water unless you catch it right after a nice shower. Then, it's really wonderful. ONLY REAL...where have you been? School hasn't started already has it. BOB, I am still keeping an optomistic attitude, as yet, they are predicting the "heightened" part of the season to be very active. Yucatan is so right in the middle of all of the action during months of Aug and Sept. Hopefully my cruise will go off without a hitch and the seas will be calm enough for us not to get seasick! I do tune in to the weather every night, hoping nothing has formed and nothing looks like it may form. Perhaps the man upstairs is hearing my prayers this hurricane season! Mine and hundreds of others, I imagine, all for different reasons. Have a great weekend!
