Satellite pictures show the remains of Trop. Storm Matthew moving farther inland into Central America, however, several computer models indicate another area of low pressure will form over the Western Caribbean early next week. The good news for us is cooler and drier air will surge southward over us and keep any tropical threats well to our east. In fact, models show several cool fronts coming our way during the next 7-10 days. It won't exactly be sweater weather, but nights will fall into the 60s S-Shore with low to mid 50s N-Shore.
In the short term, Sunday will still have a shower threat for tailgating before the Saints game, but by Monday morning you'll walk out to a different season. Enjoy your weekend watching the Saints on FOX 8 at noon.
