Watching radar last night was rather frustrating as some heavy showers approached from the NW and fizzled before they reached the Southshore. Same thing was happening this morning EXCEPT this time they made it. Wasn't a "frog strangler" or a 'gully washer", but it did give some welcomed relief to a very dry Sept-Oct. It appears we'll have to wait until after the weekend to get any more rainfall. This has been a lovely October...warm, but not hot...dry but delightfully pleasant for any outdoor functions.
NHC finally has upgraded the swirl of clouds in the Caribbean to Trop. Depression # 19. I'm fairly certain they'll name it Richard within 24 hours. No threat to the northern Gulf. I'm on vacation for the next 5 days. May not be able to update my blog.
