Otto Forms Over Fishville...

Satellite views tonight show Sub-Tropical Storm Otto is slowly getting better organized over the warm waters north of Puerto Rico. This system will not affect any land areas even staying east of Bermuda. Again today, long range computer models show nothing forming in the Gulf or Western Caribbean. More cold air will be coming and that should continue to protect us from any tropical activity. We could see something form on the tail end of one of these fronts down over the Gulf later this month, but the westerlies should keep everything well to our east.

Glad you appreciated the Les Miles humor. They weren't booing the QB. The crowd was booing the coaching staff. Folks around here know their football and what they saw on Saturday was poor coaching. End of story...time to redeem themselves in da Swamp this weekend.

That's what happens when you give a Michigan guy any sort of responsibility, eh, Bob?! :)

Sorry, had to jab back after the poke at my Tigers. :)

Happy belated birthday!

...and whats worse is this is not the first time we have seen poor coaching at the end of a game from Miles....thats what frustrating.

One only has to look at Coach Payton and see the difference. I remember the Philadelphia game prob 2006, late in the 4th Qtr, Saints got the ball down to the 3yr line (est) and with 2 minutes left, coach took a knee for a couple of plays to wind the clock down. We kick the field goal, game over, never giving the ball back to Philadephia and then the dangerous McNabb.

Go Saints against those other dirty birds....
