Shary, Shary Baby...
NHC named the 18th storm(Shary) tonight, but it is no threat to the U.S. Trop. Storm Watch is up for Bermuda and this system will quickly recurve to the NE. Another disturbance east of Barbados appears to be getting better organized and it could become Tomas tomorrow. As I mentioned weeks ago, our hurricane season is over as cold fronts keep coming protecting us from any tropical systems. The latest blew through this morning sweeping away all the muggies and bringing back the "good feel" air. You'll need a light jacket or sweater in the morning as brisk north winds will make it feel like it's in the 40s. The core of the cold will stay to our north and east and we'll see a slow warming trend through the weekend. No rain is likely before next Tuesday. Even colder air is coming for later next week.
