Fog Season Arrives...

According to Causeway Police, they start looking out for fog on the bridge once the water temperatures dip below 60 degrees. Today the Lake is in the low 60s, but we saw some fog on the bridge around daybreak. It appears that was "radational" fog that formed over land and drifted back out over the Lake. The same conditions are around tonight and we will likely see a dense fog advisory issued for morning drive time. The next 2-3 days will see our warming trend continue with highs around 80 and humidity slowly creeping higher making it feel a little summer-like. A weak front will approach during the day on Saturday bringing a few showers with it, but it will lose upper support and stall near us. A stronger system arrives on Monday bringing much better rain chances before cooler and drier air returns on Tuesday. This will not be a drastic cool down behind that front, but cold air is gathering across Canada and we'll see that chill sometime in the next 10-14 days. Get the firewood & heavy coats ready as Meteorological Winter begins in 3 weeks.

CAVEMAN...if you hadn't predicted that hurricane would go to Lake Charles (it went up the east coast !), we'd make you a Genius along with ONLYREAL. For now, you're only "Genius-like". True Genius nails their prediction on the head !

The fog sucks big time. A few of us went fishing this evening and the knats were awful.. That's the bad part of the great weather this time of year.

Anyone can guess a number like ONLYREAL. But like you said in a previous post how it takes little skill to predict the number of storms. It only matters when you predict their spot of landfall. "To me, there is little value in guessing the total number of storms since we have to be prepared regardless of whether it's one or 20. When they [experts] can narrow down the where or when with some skill, then it's time to pay attention." -Bob Breck October 8th blog.

I understand ONLYREAL wants to be like you Bob, but it seems to me that you favor him over any of the other posters on this blog. If it weren't for your viewers you wouldn't be doing this, well maybe not on fox.

I think its time for you to consider the emotions and feelings of everyone else that posts on here because it is a rarity that you address anyone elses posts besides caveman and ONLYREAL..(And Caveman has some valid points...)It feels as though the only thing only real does is reword what you have already said.

LOL... Are you kidding me Anonymous? FYI, I don't consult Bob before I post on here. I look at a variety of resources that I have compiled over the years along with my meteorological knowledge I have taught myself since I became interested in the subject. I've earned to be liked and respected here; which wasn't overnight. And its not just Bob, but most of the other regulars (Bourbon, Nashette, Wiley) that have gotten to know me since I started posting here in '08. If I didn't know better I would say you and caveman are the same person using dual handles.

Also, in defense of my hurricane season outlook, I didn't just stick my hand into a hat of numbers and said that was going to be the number of NS this season. I put days of effort researching and looking at a variety of conditions that were setting up on a global scale to make it. So don't just say I guessed because that is nonsense.

Only real, I have been watching bob breck with my father since I can remember, before you were born. I have also been reading these blogs for longer than you've been posting. I have another alias, yes, but it surely isn't caveman. I was annoyed by caveman at first because of all the drama he stirred, and I actually thought you was a nice kid. Who knows...I could be Bourbon, Nashette, or Wiley too. Always blaming poor caveman.

As soon as someone disagrees with what you have to say, you diss them harder than a car slamming into a brick wall.

IN MY OPINION, I think you look at what Bob says, reword it, and then you get great positive feedback for it because it is cute. It's like a toddler learning to walk...its cute at first, but when they start running and knocking everything down its a huge mess. I am entitled to my own opinion just like you are...It doesn't mean anyone has to listen to it or believe it. I just got tired of reading your posts because they all seem to mimic with very little deviation from what bob says.

For everyone...stop picking on ONLYREAL. If you recall, I didn't feel we would have more than 12-14 named storms at most. ONLYREAL said 19. Doesn't sound like he just repeats what I say. He gives opinions and reasons why. What I don't like is for people to copy & paste and then try and "Monday Morning Quarterback". This blog is for sharing ideas, not bashing one another.

I am not the first Anonymous poster from this blog, I am the 2nd and 3rd...and I wasn't really talking about the predictions, I was speaking about when he comes on here giving his own little forecast about the weather.

Some of my friends make fun of my love for Bob Breck, and it just saddens me that you barely respond to anyones comments besides Only real...and then to tell caveman to be a good boy.
