Part of growing older is recalling one's youth, often referred to as the "good ol' days", when life seemed simpler and the pace of living slower. Few people(other than police) had guns and fewer used drugs. School was for education, rowdy students expelled. Sundays were for Church and Holidays were for families. I remember HOME COOKED Turkey dinners, HOME MADE pies and...no foolin'...HOME BAKED bread. Ah yes, those were the good ol' days! This Thanksgiving, I hope those of you that celebrate with family, sit down and remember with your grand kids what it was like growing up BEFORE computers and cell phones & texting. Some how, we survived...and thrived!
Thursday may be the last 80+ day this year. Much colder air arrives for Friday bringing back sweaters and jackets. Some rain with the front otherwise the weekend looks dry and comfy cool.

Enjoyed the weather and the game today. Not looking forward to winter. Who Dat?
Looking at some extended models shows our first potential threat of wintry precip on the northshore Dec 7th/8th... Any thoughts on that? Bob, are you expecting our December to be a cooler than normal one (like accuweather thinks)?
I'm surprised Bob hasn't mentioned the chance for severe weather yet. It looks like we could have a small severe weather outbreak Monday night.
