Santa's Carbon Footprint Will be Smaller !

If the current blocking pattern across the northern Hemisphere lasts another 2 weeks, Santa's Reindeers will not have to do much pulling as there's a tail wind from the North pole all the way down to Cancun, where they had record cold temps for the Climate Conference . We have a minor system streaking thru the South tonight that might bring us some sleet & a few flakes towards morning. More freezing temps will be around Thursday AM before a brief warm up arrives Friday & Saturday. A powerful surge of Arctic air arrives on Sunday with more freezing temps coming for Monday & Tuesday mornings. You'll have a small window to protect your house & yard this weekend in fairly comfy temps (70+) before the bottom falls out.

I'm no weatherman, but I think next Tuesday you will just have a light to moderate freeze on the southshore Shane.. If you live on the northshore, you better be fully wrapped and prepared for a hard freeze. We have seen lower temps this past winter, so what ever worked last year, do it again to be on the safe side.
