Quiet Rest of This Week...

The next 4-5 days are looking terrific if you like temperatures warming back up. Wednesday will be the last "good feel" day before the muggies return Thursday afternoon. Morning fog will become an issue maybe as soon as Thursday, but despite the return of low level moisture, no rain is likely until next week. Look for highs to top 80 perhaps as soon as Thursday with night time lows 55-60. Makes me look forward to doing some gardening this weekend.

Regarding the radiation leak in Japan...from everything I've heard, the explosions have not been powerful enough to throw the radiation high up in the atmosphere where the upper winds might bring it to the U.S. Add to their woes, a volcano has erupted in Japan.

what are the chances of a tsumani hitting the gulf coast????? If so, would it be similar to a storm surge? If so, how far inland could it go and would it flood all of our canals and waterways to the point where our levees would break again? I am sure many more are wondering the same thing being close to the coast and having survived levees breaking for Katrina.

Thanks for your time answering these questions Bob...
