Lee Finally Moving !

After sitting just off the LA. coast all night, the center of TS Lee is now on the move inland just SE of LAF. Winds are still gusting to 45-50, but those should diminish as the storm moves farther inland. We have another 3-4 hours of rain showers before we begin to dry out. Winds will shift to the west later this afternoon and then around to the NW after dark. That will allow the high waters to drain out of the lakes and marshes and put an end to coastal flooding. VIPIR once again is faster on lifting Lee to the NE. Recent radar movement indicates to me that NHC is too slow in their forecast and VIPIR may be right. The faster movement is much better for us as it gets the rain out sooner and the wind shift here quicker. Let's see which one is correct.

No levees were breeched in lafite, water is flowing from the intercoastal across the roads, im in myrtle grove now, and there are several breaches here, everything will be fine as soon as these winds change direction, if your thinking of coming down here to see anything. PPSO has hwy 23 shut down just s of myrtle grove.

Levee has been breached just south of boomtown casino on engineers rd. in the industrial park, behind the new wall, water is pushes out of the floodgate about 3ft up, but about 500 yards further uo the road theres no water in the boomtown parking lot, 1 gate at boomtown is open, police are blocking the entrance.
Im guessing the land were the breech is,is a lot lower than boomtown, I climbed the gate by chet morrison and further down by dynamic ind. And neither have any water..
