Early May Warmth...in February!
Highs over north Louisiana almost hit 90 this afternoon. Monroe(89) shattered their record by 5 degrees! We almost reached record warmth but fell 2 degrees short at 79. Fortunately for you cold air freaks, relief is on the way as a cold front arrives just after daybreak with a few showers followed by noticeably cooler air for Friday PM and through the weekend. A weak low will ride the front down over the Gulf Saturday night and it might spread a cold rain back over us for Saturday night into Sunday. As has been the case all winter, the cold will not stick around as we'll get back above 70 by next Tuesday.
