NHC is watching what's left of Debby pass near Bermuda tonight and they say an area of clouds out in the tropical Atlantic has a 10% chance for development. Thay have ignored a flair up of T-Storms in the Central Gulf off of Brownsville. Water Vapor clearly shows an upper high over that part of the Gulf which would be favorable for development. Models are taking that moisture surge to the NW into Texas over the next 2-3 days. That should keep us mostly dry and way too hot.
It has been hot here, but don't whine too much. St. Louis hit 108, Little Rock 107 and Indianapolis 104.
