Wow what a past couple of days with all the lightning & heavy rains! With a stalled or very slow moving upper trough stuck across the SE, we could easily see another 2-3 days of heavy T-Storms. Since many areas received 2-4"+ over the past 2 days, the ground is saturated and any more rain will quickly runoff overwhelming our pumping capacity and causing widespread street flooding. hence we remain under a Flash Flood Watch thru Friday night that probably will be extended into the weekend. Pay attention to the weather until this upper pattern changes.
Good news...the tropics remain dead!
