Storms to Our East & West...
At this time of the year we all know it rains every day SOMEWHERE. The forecasting dilema is where is somewhere? Location, location, location. The 3 factors that usually govern summer rain coverage are 1) daytime heating, 2) Upper disturbances and 3) Tropical waves. Daytime heating happens everyday. We don't have any TWs around but there are 2 Upper level lows causing greater shower coverage to our west and east. We were between the two on Tuesday resulting in mostly dry weather & hotter temps. Neither low appears to be moving much so I don't expect major changes for Wednesday. NWS increases our rain chances for later this week. If the lows don't move, I see us staying with below normal rain chances.
