Nadine in Gulf Late Thursday?
While watching satellite & radar loops this PM, I sure saw a swirl in South GA. moving to the south. Sure enough, NHC mentions it tonight and gives it a 10% chance of developing. The good news is computer models (including VIPIR) drift it southward away from us and then turn it toward Florida near Tampa. In addition, a strong cold front for early September should arrive late Saturday/early on Sunday and take whatever forms towards the NE. Frankly, I not ready to track another storm in the Gulf. Hopefully models are correct as we don't need more rain! Stay tuned!
