What a wonderful October it's been with less than a half inch(.40") of rainfall making this the 6th driest on record. The recent cold fronts have made for sunny, pleasant days and comfy cool nights. That pattern will continue into November, but looking down the road, the fronts will get colder especially beyond Nov. 10th. The "non-winter" of last year will be vastly different this year for much of the eastern 2/3 of the U.S. Sandy's western snowstorm may be just the 1st of many to come during the next 3-4 months. Snow geeks get ready. Does that include us? Let's not get too carried away! Stay tuned!
Take a look at www.icecap.us for a story that Sandy was NOT caused by global warming.
