Colder, Wetter Pattern

Noticed that NOAA issued their winter (Dec-Feb) outlook yesterday calling for milder temps over the southern states with drought becoming a problem once again.   Almost on cue, Mother Nature is out to prove that wrong as it appears a southern storm track is setting up that would bring storm after storm of heavy rains from us to Atlanta.  The first of those storms will arrive late Monday into Tuesday with the potential for some strong storms and heavy (2-3”)  rainfall.  But first we have to endure a foggy night followed by a much colder Saturday with periods of light rain.  Some filtered sunshine will be around on Sunday before our weather goes into the dumper Monday & Tuesday.  The good news is next Wednesday (big travel day)  Thanksgiving and Friday look cold but dry.   All you cold weather freaks…enjoy!   This wimp is heading into the closet to get out the sweaters & heavy coats!
