I'm watching another upper disturbance crossing the Rio Grande tonight heading our way with the potential to bring us 1- 3" of rain during the day on Tuesday. Temperatures will continue mild (65-70) before a strong cold front arrives by midday on Wednesday. Temps. will fall from the 60s to the 50s by dark and into the 40s (30s N-Shore) by daybreak on Thursday. Brisk north winds will make it feel colder and sweaters & heavy coats will again be needed. A warm up begins Friday that will last into the weekend.
Have been watching The Weather Channel shamelessly promoting a group of Senators that want to pass laws that will lower the standard of living for all Americans. Their belief? That CO2 is the DRIVER of climate change/global warming. TWC should at least alert viewers that their part owner (NBC Universal) will benefit greatly because one of their major companies (GE) builds wind turbines. C'mon, can you say this reeks of conflict of interest?

The Weather Channel is an American basic cable and satellite television channel that is owned as a joint venture between NBCUniversal, and investment firms The Blackstone Group and Bain Capital
Last I looked Bain is owned by Mitt Romney
JetfireK..."Bain owned by Mitt Romney". Hey, I own some of GE stock. Does that mean I own part of Bain? Gee, next you'll tell me the slow economy is still Bush's fault.
