Dry Spell Should End

Radar returns sure indicate we should see some rain towards daybreak as a cold front staggers into SE LA/MS.  That will bring our current dry spell (23 days) to an end.   If we don’t get any rain with this front, I see no rain again until sometime next Wed-Thursday.   Signs are pointing to an Arctic Blast coming to the lower 48 next week that could bring record cold along with several snow storms up north.   I’ve been preaching…once a pattern gets locked in place, it sometimes lasts for the whole season.   This could be a Winter that rivals the late 70s and it begins BEFORE Thanksgiving!  Stay tuned!
