Feast or Famine?

After being drenched with nearly a foot of rain in April, many folks are zero for May as the first 13 days have seen only isolated storms.  That is likely to change as we head to the weekend.  Thursday could be mainly dry again before rain chances ramp up Friday through Sunday.  We will need to be on the watch for any “training” storms that might develop and go over the same track.  Parts of Texas experienced such storms resulting in 5-10”+ in spots during the past 3-4 days.  We all know what that would do here.  Be prepared to see some street flooding in the heavier storms as we transition to a wetter pattern for the next 5-7 days.   Several upper disturbances coupled with daytime heating should be the triggers for increase rain chances.
