Hard To Imagine...

As I get older, my memory is not as sharp as it once was.  However, I do vividly recall how wonderful a 6-8 week stretch of weather we enjoy last Spring that lasted into May.   I sure hope our recent great March weather is a sign of things to come?  Can we have back to back 6-8 weeks of delightful weather where the nights are comfy cool while the days are not too hot?   Perhaps, as this weekend was sensational and another week front will blow though late Monday bringing more cooler & drier air back for Tuesday through Friday.  A few showers could develop ahead of this front but no widespread heavy rains are expected.   Next weekend could turn stormy, but we'll have plenty of time to watch and prepare for it.   If the animal kingdom is any indicator, this is going to be a great Spring here as the birds are building nests, the butterflies (even Monarchs!) are showing up and yes, those dreaded fire ants are making their annual reappearance-yuck!   I have planted my plants and aside from trimming some shrubs and power washing my back deck, I'm ready to sit outside and enjoy.    Stay tuned!
