Barry on Final Goodbye...
I don't have much to add to the NHC latest advisory. Barry remains convoluted with no T-Storms around the center, which is located west of Alexandria and moving NNW at 8. Winds have decreased dramatically and that should allow for falling water levels overnight into Sunday. It will take several days for water levels to get back down to normal as long as no more heavy rain bands develop. The strongest storms are well offshore SE of Houston so I don't anticipate any heavy rains here. My gauge ended up with 1.38" and that was one of the heavier amounts around the city. Heaviest totals (2-4+") were from Gulfport eastward to Mobile Bay. As I said earlier,,,, convoluted, extreme complex and difficult to follow. With that I say good night and I'll have another update/opinion around midday on Sunday. Stay tuned!
