Hello everyone. Bob has told us that he has power and that Cox has told him his internet should be up after 6 pm and he plans on finally doing a post sometime tonight if the internet gets restored.
In the meantime we have some more damage photos from our loyal readers.
These are from Brenda (location unknown)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------From Stacie in Old Metairie, in the eye of the storm
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------These are from Chelsea, unfortunately the tree landed on her house

I live in New Orleans and live the storms and didn't lose my internet through Nola broadband.
I fired Cox cable because they couldn't fix the 30 year old wires.
Almost all of those trees were substandard mother nature got rid of them. What was underneath was irrelevant to her. When you're replacing or planting trees do some research and put in good stuff for the urban environment. the next generation will thank you
I remember as a kid in the 60s we had a rooftop antenna that got 5 channels and there was no internet!
Hey Bob—-did you hire a new singing fat lady yet?
In case anyone is interested, the 12Z run of the GFS model shows a 967 millibar storm hitting Tallahassee, FL on Nov. 11. Too far out to count on, but interesting.
