November To Finish Above Normal...

I have been enjoying our current stretch of warm weather that should continue for the next 10-14 days.  that gets us into December when colder temperatures should begin arriving.  For now. it's a spectacular display fo Fall Flowers.

The cooler nights are perfect for the Fall annuals as the heat stress of summer is gone.  There is a frontal boundary on today's weather map that divides the North (Winter) from the South (Spring).

If you were watching the LSU/Arkansas game, you saw some heavy downpours make for slippery footing.  Thank goodness the Tigers were able to hang on for the win.

There is a band of widespread heavy rains stretching from Oklahoma to Ohio just north of the stalling front.  that front is expected to wash out as it slides into Louisiana.   Note how all of the West coast is dry.  That's where the rains are really needed.

Extensive clouds are along the front while we have some clouds but no rain around us.  That should not change unless the front gets closer.

The Hurricane Season should be over but NHC is trying for just one more storm (#31).  They give the highlighted area only a 10% chance for development, meaning they don't think that will happen.  I will be out playing some morning tennis before the Saints game tomorrow.  Enjoy some time outside before we face the dirty birds.  Go Saints!  Stay tuned!
