Summer Begins Hot...Duh

Astronomical Summer arrived at 4:13 AM with typical June heat over parts of the country.  The Omega block remains in place so little change is coming for awhile.  We did have a few storms develop around the southern/bottom part of the upper high. and that briefly cooled down some neighborhoods.

I know watching local weathercast & the networks make it seem this June Heat is the worst it's ever been.  But it is not.

It remains cool over the western states and New England so not everyone is suffering.   If we're going to whine every day about the heat,  we have a lot of whining to do.   My wine is chardonnay so it's a different kind of wine-ing.!

So my advice is simple.  Dress in comfortable clothes and sip some cool drinks inside withair-conditioning.  Life is good.  Stay tuned!
