Roslyn Brushing Puerto Vallarta, Summer Returns To East...

This will be a brief discussion since there's not a lot going on.  Major (Cat. 4) Hurricane Joslyn is approaching the Mexican Coast west of Puerta Vallarta.  It appears the eyewall (strongest winds) will stay west of PV, but areas to the north will receive quiet a hammering.

The color IR has that donut hole look, but it is not as well defined as earlier.   The NHC's center line track has shifted slightly farther to the west, but any shift back to the east would bring PV into more impacts.

It's so nice to know we are done for this season as we focus now on more cold fronts.

As the eastern upper trough lifted out, it's replaced by a western upper trough that has brought them the cold & welcome moisture.

Gulf moisture is flowing all the way up into the Great Lakes with dew points in the 50s.  Will that be enough to give us rain here late Tuesday when our next front arrives?

Remember, when in drought, leave it out.    Enjoy this great Fall weather.  Stay tuned!
