I was supposed to Golf today for the first time in 3 months, but last night's cold front brought a chill that affects my temperature sensitive right leg. So I'm gonna give it another try tomorrow as it's supposed to be 70+. Enjoy this warm up as it will allow us time to prepare our yards & homes for the coming freeze next week. Temps on the back side of high pressure have soared into the 75-80 degree range to our west.
Even though I am no longer married, I am still responsible for protecting my house from freezes. Next week promises to bring down the coldest air of this Winter season so far. Most of Canada is way below zero, with some spots 50-55 below!
That cold will drive into the lower 48 behind the next clipper plunging down from Canada. To me, it appears the core of the cold will remain just to our north and east for Monday & Tuesday mornings. The FOX 8 Weather Team is doing a great job of showing you the future model temperature forecast. Let's prepare for a hard freeze on the North Shore and a light freeze (at worst) on the South Shore away from the Lake.

The up and down temperature ride will continue next week as we'll be back to 70+. Of course, we know that roller coaster ride will continue well into March of next year. Finally, here's why I'm happy with my new home.
For the first 5 days at Copeland Tower, every morning was cloudy. The past two have been spectacular!
In addition, a judge this morning made my divorce final, and I am finally single again. No longer will I be denied love. No longer will I be financially burdened paying for someone who has more $$$ than I do, a spouse not willing to share in community expenses for 10+ years. That is NOT a partner. It's been a very difficult 8+ months, but Valerie has brought purpose back to my life. We intend to celebrate tonight and for many years to come! I am a very blessed man!
