Weekend Will Stay Above Normal...

MSY set a new record with a high of 83 today. 83 is the normal/average high for the first week of May !!! We have been above normal now for 12 straight days and that streak will continue into next week. A weak front will bring drier and slightly cooler air for Friday and Saturday, but we'll warm back to near 80 on Sunday. A front on Monday will be stronger but it will only bring us nearer to where we should be for the 1st week in March. After starting very cold, this February has turned very nice the past 2 weeks. Compared to what is happening up north (another snowstorm), we are living the good life!

Big T-Storms have remained far to our north tonight and we'll see only a few showers after midnight. They should be gone before daybreak and Friday should turn sunny and less humid with pleasant temps and less wind by PM.
