While I was in Atlanta last week on vacation, for 4 straight days the Atlanta Journal Constitution ran stories on the doom and gloom of global warming...even had an full page editorial demanding our government take action (raise taxes) to stop the warming. I'll have much more on this later in the week.
This evening, NHC has named another storm. They are calling this system "sub-tropical" storm Olga. With the water temperatures in the Gulf now in the 70s, it's too cold to support this system so don't even worry about it. We should be more concerned about morning fog causing another slow drive into work tomorrow.
While I was gone, Dr. Gray came out with his early season predictions for the 2008 hurricane season. Since all these early predictions have been so wrong the past 3 years, my son has come up with a poll to see what you think about them. Let me know your feelings regarding these "forecasts".
