Warmer Weekend, Stormy Mardi Gras ?

Two things parade watchers don't want over Carnival is wet weather and/or cold weather. It appears we may get away with a really nice 4 day stretch, the exception being the afternoon hours on Mardi Gras. Saturday will see some high thin clouds making for hazy sunshine at times, but it will be warmer as highs reach 60-65. A warm front will come out of the Gulf on Sunday morning bringing a few morning showers, but most of the rain should be well to our north for the later parades. Highs should reach the low 70s. Monday looks windy, warm and mostly dry as most showers again should stay to our north. A cold front will approach by late Tuesday. It should be dry in the morning with temperatures in the 70s but showers & T-Storms are likely by late afternoon. Some storms could be heavy. Colder air returns for Wednesday.
